CONSTRUCTION STAGING
We produced a staging plan that could provide continuous flow of traffic during construction without any detour. The first stage involves the first phase that covers construction of the proposed alternative that is not affecting the existing facility, and also a temporary road that would connect to the existing 138 and state route 2 that will be used on the further stages.
Once this temporary intersection is constructed and can be opened and used, we will finally close down a portion of existing State Route 2 to connect the construction that we have finished on phase 1.

On the first phase of second stage, while we close the existing SR 138, we open temporary lanes to build the bridge and the proposed SR 138 which is in Green.
Also, the operating roads are shown in blue.
Finally, on the second phase, the proposed SR 138 will be opened for use. We will then build the On and off-ramps of SR 138 and finish the rest of the proposed SR 138 while maintaining continuous flow of traffic. And this is our Half Tight Diamond design.
