The first alternative we began to look into was the continuous green-t intersection that would provide continuous flow for Westbound 138 traffic, realign both state routes to provide a 90-degree intersection, as well as increase the storage length for seasonal traffic by implementing 2 left lanes for left turn movements. However, due to this alternatives inability to address the through movement of EB 138 traffic
We dropped this alternative as it did not ultimately mitigate the purpose and needs of this project.
